Disfigurement
The two types of disfigurement are head/facial disfigurement and serious bodily disfigurement. If the Industrial Commission determines that there is head or facial disfigurement, then it has the discretion to make an award to the worker of up to $20,000 in compensation, but no more than that. For body disfigurement, if the injury does not qualify under any other category of scheduled injury, then the Commission can pay up to $10,000 to the injured worker.
